Renana Shvartzvald
Head of Impact
Renana joined Bridges Israel in 2018, as Head of Impact.
Prior to joining Bridges-Israel, Renana has been the Head of ESG & Impact at Vital-Capital Fund, an impact investing fund dedicated to improving the wellbeing of sub-Saharan African communities. In this capacity she developed Vital’s impact strategy and tools, analyzed the impact potential of pipeline investments and managed impact with portfolio companies.
Renana is also active in various initiatives in the industry with the aim of mainstreaming impact investing and acts as Bridges Israel’s representative at the Impact Management Project Advisory Group.
Renana holds an M.A from Tel Aviv University’s Porter School of Environmental Studies (in collaboration with the Freie Universität Berlin), summa cum laude, and is a graduate of the Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students at TAU. Her research focused on developing a theoretical model as well as quantitatively exploring the connection between social policies and environmental performances at a national level, linking its similar moral foundations.
